Board Report Draft (due 3/11)
Hi Folks,
The quarterly board report is due tomorrow (Wednesday). You can see other
examples (including our last report) here:
http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/December2008
Any comments on this draft? I''m not sure what the latest status of the
stable release is.
Thanks,
Lane
Shindig is a reference implementation of the OpenSocial and gadgets stack,
incubating since: 2007-12-06. The active community has built two parallel
implementations of the OpenSocial and gadgets spec; one in Java and one in
PHP. In the last quarter we added three new committers, improving the
diversity of committers. Currently the Shindig community is working toward
an incubation release of the OpenSocial v0.8.1 spec as well as implementing
the new functionality defined in OpenSocial v0.9.
* We are still looking to grow the community and add new committers
* We are working on publishing a stable release

Looks like jukka put in an initial version that only covered progress since
inception. I've added our bullets about progress in the last quarter.
Please take a look, since jukka's bullets (the first set) didn't get on this
list:

Yes, as I just reported on general@incubator: someone mistakenly submitted
the report (on-time) on the March2008 report, rather than March 2009.
The content is now on the proper March 2009 page:

did this ever make it? We're getting chided on general@incubator for not
providing a report. Can someone make sure the wiki page is updated ASAP?
