Ross Gardler created INFRA-10048:

Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Bug

Thanks for setting up a VM for ComDev (INFRA-8771). Unfortunately I'm unable to run Docker on that VM as per the request on that issue. Is this an expected limitation or just a config?
The error is as follows:
rgardler@comdev1-us-west:~/tools$ docker -d
FATA[0000] Error starting daemon: open /var/run/docker.pid: permission denied
rgardler@comdev1-us-west:~/tools$ sudo docker -d
