Default document in Tomcat

In Tomcat, is there a way to configure default document for a context? for
example, when typing http://localhost:8080/examples, Tomcat will load
"myDefaultDoc.jsp".

I used to define default document on IIS side, however, after switching to
JK2, IIS default doc setting seems to be ignored. I always get "The
requested resource (/examples/) is not available" error when typing
http://localhost:8080/examples

Thanks.

Hua

One advantage that I am consider moving JK to JK2 is that JK2 supports
virtual host uri mapping, i.e., maps different virtual host to different
Tomcat instances. With JK, I am not able to do this.

what advantage does jk2 have over jk for IIS and Apache to Tomcat
redirection? Does it provide any additional features?

we are wondering if we should move from jk to jk2.

thanks,
mark
