Bugzilla notifications

Hi,

I would like to change the assigned component / title / metadata of several bugs,
but don't want to spam the mailing list.
Background: I'm trying to cache hslf/poifs/poi overall bugs offline with deskzilla lite
for a holiday trip and noticed that quite a few bugs have wrong metadata.

Is it possible to disable the email notifications temporarily on a product level?

Who grants me the required permissions?
