[jira] [Created] (LIBCLOUD-904) OpenStack not working on latest trunk

Markos Gogoulos created LIBCLOUD-904:
----------------------------------------

             Summary: OpenStack not working on latest trunk
                 Key: LIBCLOUD-904
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LIBCLOUD-904
             Project: Libcloud
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Compute
            Reporter: Markos Gogoulos

Althought authentication works with keystone, it doesn't try to connect to the compute endpoint. At that point I see self.connection.host is https://127.0.0.1 but self.host and self.port are correct.

This seems related with common/base.py and libcloud/httplib_ssl.py

from libcloud.compute.providers import get_driver; from libcloud.compute.types import Provider; driver = get_driver('openstack')
c=driver('user', 'correct_password', ex_force_auth_version='2.0_password', ex_force_auth_url='http://x.y.z.y:5000', ex_tenant_name='admin')
c.list_nodes()
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
ConnectionError Traceback (most recent call last)

ConnectionError: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='127.0.0.1', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /v2.1/d0ff206af73c459bad15a33cba35e90d/servers/detail (Caused by NewConnectionError('<requests.packages.urllib3.connection.VerifiedHTTPSConnection object at 0x7ffb36a85a10>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 111] Connection refused',))
