Thank you both for replying.  I relayed your instructions on the Subclipse
list, hopefully it will help.  Eventually, I want to try to assemble a FAQ
page and put it on our site.

Here is an example from today, of the kinds of problems people have and the
frustration we are seeing.  We get a lot of messages like this.

I have forgot to mention that the build shared library has to be put on 
the java.library.path of the JVM. That can be another reason for not 
being able to use subclipse. It could be helpfull to tell your users to 
link the shared objects into the directory of the swt shared objects.
