Does NetBeans support retrieving and submitting data from Microsoft's SqlServer?

AW: Microsoft's SqlServer

I also tried it with an MS SQL Server, but I couldn’t see any tables/views etc. That was months ago, I will check them again 😊. But yes, in general it is possible to use NetBeans for MS SQL Server.

Hi Bertil
NetBeans IDE is made with Java and Java (or more precisely JDBC) is
pretty agnostic to the flavor of database you are using. So yes,
NetBeans IDE does have a build-in browser which you can use to query
your MS SQL Server database and perform actions on it. It is an
absolutely decent feature in the NetBeans IDE.

This being said, I'm not personally a fan of using my IDE for database
browsing or database actions even if I'm developing an application
which is using an RDBMS. If you are using MS SQL Server then you'll
probably already be using something like MS SQL Server Studio. Why not
keep doing that?
