VSphere SDK bug in image capturing
Hello,
Going through the archives for the issue we are having with image capturing, I saw that it is a known issue:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VCL-1078
The use of SSH doesn't seem to apply for vCenter, but rather standalone ESXi hosts.
Has anyone found a workaround? I was thinking about trying to use an older version of the vSphere SDK but am not sure if that would break other things.
Thanks.

Hi Ariel,
It looks like you can safely just comment out lines 950 and 951 in VMware.pm.
They are just adding comments to the vmx file. The other places in VMware.pm
that call append_text_file appear to only be related to migrating VMs, which
wouldn't be needed for a vCenter instance anyway.
