[users@httpd] RE: Apache 2.0.52+Solaris stability issues?

I have posted the problem to Bugzilla: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32325

The problem might be caused by the fact that we use the default AcceptMutex, and that the default changed from pthread to fcntl between 2.0.49 and 2.0.52. I have not yet had time to test 2.0.52 with AcceptMutex pthread and see whether that makes any difference.

Our platforms are dual-processor V210/V240 with Solaris 8.

What issues have you seen stability-wise with Apache 2.0.52 on Solaris (and what version of Solaris 9)? And was that with or without using mod_cache?
I ask because we're about to upgrade our servers to that version of Apache from 2.0.49 (already using the worker MPM), running on Solaris 9, and if there are some gotchas in doing that, I have some slight curiosity as to what they might be.

Regards,
Joel
