[DISCUSS] Discuss Release Apache Flex PixelBender Package 1.0.0
(RC4)
Please use this thread for discussion.
The changes in this RC are to:
1) try to clean up use of the term Pixel Bender in the README and RELEASE
NOTES per Om's suggestion. It turned out to be a bit awkward to use
"Apache Flex Pixel Bender" when referencing the files in the kit and
"Adobe Pixel Bender" for the compiler, but I think it will be ok.
2) address minor problems Justin found in RC3 such as:
A) remove "." at end of "ant -f pixelbender.xml" in the README
B) change project name in pixelbender.xml
C) copy-to-flex-sdk copies PBK and PBJ files
D) change description of clean target
The copy-to-flex-sdk target still only copies if files have changed so if
you run it twice it won't do anything.
Thanks,
-Alex

Yeah, I'll put in the last vote and post things this weekend or Monday.
Thanks for voting,

Hi,
Think we only have 2 +1 binding votes here. Anyone willing to provide the final +1 required to make a release?
Thanks,
Justin

Hi,
The signatures are fine as far as I can see - other than not being in the web of trust as as the files came from a trusted location that's OK.
This is what I get:
justinmclean$ gpg --verify apache-flex-sdk-pixel-bender-1.0.0-src.zip.asc
gpg: Signature made Tue 7 Jan 05:53:19 2014 EST using RSA key ID DA9CCFF2
gpg: Good signature from "Alex Harui (CODE SIGNING KEY) <ah...@apache.org>"
gpg: WARNING: This key is not certified with a trusted signature!
gpg: There is no indication that the signature belongs to the owner.
Primary key fingerprint: E7F7 B7D4 944C AC45 7A14 C0E9 83E0 431C DA9C CFF2
Thanks,
Justin

Hi,
For people voting +1, it would be nice to know what platform you were testing it on, if you compiled it, verified the signatures etc rather than just a +1 with no info.
Thanks,
Justin

I'm really sorry, but I currently don't have the cycles to properly
test this, so I want vote I'm afraid :-(
