Hi Christian. Did you mean to make this a duplicate of a bug marked as "fixed"?
It turns out that FileUtils.getMimeType doesn't work at all for content:// URIs. I've made a change that fixes that (and addresses the issue Simon brought up in the other bug). I hope you don't mind me reopening and repurposing this bug. :)
