Summary: Redirector does not call ChainReaderHelper.setProject
Product: Ant
Version: 1.6.5
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: Core tasks
AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
ReportedBy: jeremy@las-inc.com
When a ChainReaderHelper is used in the Concat, LoadFile and LoadProperties
tasks, the FilterMapper type, and FileUtils (or ResourceUtils now), the Project
is set on each ChainReaderHelper instance. But the Redirector does not set the
Project.
This makes it difficult to have a custom filter that can write to the log from a
redirector in (for example) an Exec task.
The fix is easy: add this line:
helper.setProject(managingTask.getProject());
after each instatiation of ChainReaderHelper (lines 520, 549 and 587) in
taskdefs/Redirector.java.
