The current testbed based on Vagrant is created for using VirtualBox. Based in my experience with multi-machine Vagrant clusters, the performance of KVM is really much better.

Developments with Vagrant-libvirt testbed with more than 10 virtual machines (DCOS local deployments) are possible with KVM, the same scenario with VirtualBox is really difficult.

This is a proposal for enhance the Myriad local development environment based on Vagrant.
