[ADF] disabling skinning?

Hi,

I have experimented a couple of ADF faces components so far and it's
look very promising. However, after having shown the outputted html
to our web designer, I have some concerns. Well to be fair, the
components seem to really respect the XHTML standard and it is really
great for the shops where you have to respect XHTML 1.0 strict (like I
have to). I was really afraid to see all think of weird html markup
and not be able to use those components without implementing tons of
new renderers. The only concern I have is about skins, our web
designer told me it's perfect when you use a css "component model" but
some people like him prefer to use a "page template model" (I don't
know how it is done) and he would really appreciate if we could
disable this feature to get rid of all the class id generated
(especially the spans element going with it). Anyone know if it is
possible?

If it isn't possible I guess I am going to have to write some custom
renderers but after having taken a look in the source code, I don't
know where to start. Some renderers are true new JSF renderers while
some other are UIX adapters so it is quite confusing. I would greatly
appreciate any pointers (especially from Oracle developpers :)) about
how to implement custom renderers.

* By the way, great job on Maven 2.0 plugins. It's so easy to build a
project with Maven, so I was glad to see it was your build system.
