[ANNOUNCE] Apache Qpid 0.18 released
The Apache Qpid community is pleased to announce the immediate
availability of Apache Qpid 0.18.
Apache Qpid (http://qpid.apache.org) is a cross-platform enterprise
messaging solution which implements the Advanced Message Queuing
Protocol (AMQP, http://www.amqp.org). It provides brokers written in
C++ and Java, along with clients for C++, Java JMS, .Net, Python, and
Ruby.
Qpid 0.18 is available from our website:
http://qpid.apache.org/download.html
The 0.18 release includes many bug fixes and improvements. We
recommend that all users upgrade. A comprehensive list of changes in
the 0.18 release is available here:

Please note that this release addresses CVE-2012-3467. For more
details see: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-3849

Hello Hamid! Just a note on this, as I'm using Windows + SSL. At the
least you'll want to apply the patch in QPID-4257 <
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-4257> - use the later version by
Chuck Rolke as it fixes a case I missed in my first patch. We're still
seeing some issues in our large scale performance test system around
Windows + SSL, I'll report and/or post fixes as we find and fix them. I
don't believe anyone else has been testing Windows much, certainly not
Windows + SSL. We're in system test for a product that uses QPID w/ broker
failover and SSL and these issues are causing weeks of delay.
