Coding Assistant Help with Gemini

I have spent some time configuring NetBeans for Gemini but to no success. CoPilot AI tells me to install BeanBot, it is, and then enter my API key, that I do have. The problem is that when I open, thru Options, the coding assistant it wants the location of the binary file. No indication where I might install the API keyI have installed Gemini with Node.js and it will work from the command line which is where I got my API key. I just cannot figure out how to connect it to NetBeans.

Thank you for your time,

Ken Fogel

It's Gaurav's fault.

Anand or Oleg have done nothing wrong.

Small correction to my question. The API key came from the Gemini web site and I verified it was valid with the Gemini CLI on my PC.

Hi Kenneth, I'm the author of Beanbot, let's move this discussion over to plugin project page, since it's not related to netbeans.
