[jira] [Commented] (JCLOUDS-518) Support retrieving OAuth tokens
from GCE instance metadata
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCLOUDS-518?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14215575#comment-14215575 ]
Chris Custine commented on JCLOUDS-518:
---------------------------------------
Since each instance gets a new token and the metadata is only visible to the instance, I'm not sure how we would do this. If you have a use case and possibly some way to get that token via the public API we could see about adding it but I am not so sure.

> If configured, a GCE instance has access to an OAuth token for the project's service account. It's available through the http://metadata server. The details are described in https://developers.google.com/compute/docs/authentication . This feature request is to provide an API to retrieve this token.
