Xalan-C segv's for non-existent attributes or tree nodes

I'm using Xalan-C++ 0.30. When I process an .xsl file
that references an attribute or xml source tree node
that doesn't exist, Xalan exits with a segmentation violation
I'm wondering if this is a known bug? I'd look
it up myself but whever I try to follow the Bug Reporting
links from the web site, I get an "access denied" error.

Thanks.
