[jira] [Resolved] (DAEMON-456) Prunsrv.exe delete service doesn't work from the batch script

Mark Thomas resolved DAEMON-456.
--------------------------------
    Resolution: Works for Me

The Tomcat service.bat script happily adds and deletes the service. This looks like a configuration (permissions?) issue. Please use the Commons users@ mailing list if you require further support.

> I have been using prunsrv 1.0.15 on a Windows Server, and the delete service command worked perfectly. However, after upgrading to version 1.3.3, the same command has stopped functioning when executed from a script.
> Although the delete command works as expected when run from an admin CMD terminal, I checked the 1.3.3 documentation and found no changes in the delete syntax. This makes me wonder if the issue stems from new security checks added in version 1.3.3 or if there are other reasons for this problem. I would appreciate any assistance or insights on this issue. Thanks in advance!
