IZ page loading times on tigris.org
Hi,
I realize that there have been long page loading times for bugs in
the issue tracker on tigris.org. I've been wanting to fix that as
part of an overall upgrade to the site, that upgrade is still coming,
but I went ahead and changed the current version of issuezilla to use
a text field rather than a drop-down on the site now. So, issue pages
load much much faster now.
When reporting an issue:
+ You can leave the assigned-to field blank, that will assign it to
the default component owner. This is usually the best choice.
+ If you want to spefically assign an issue to someone, or add
someone to the cc-list for an issue, you must use the following
email address format: USERNAME@tigris.org. You cannot use their
actual email address.
+ If you do not know someone's tigris.org login name, you can look at
the project members page, or comments by that user on other issues.
+ Issues that are "up for grabs", should be assigned to
issues@PROJECTNAME.tigris.org
Thanks,
jason!
