Tomcat 4 and problems

Tomcat developers,

There is a lot of flaming on the user list from lots of pissed off people to
do with the connection of TC4 with Apache. I'm worried that this is having a
detrimental effect on the reputation of the Jakarta project.

It might be wise to put a status page on Jakarta.apache.org with the status
of mod_webapp and mod_jk with TC4. A rough roadmap for the development of
mod_webapp (i.e. Windows version, APR release etc). It would probably be
wise to include mod_jk as part of the standard distribution with TC4.0.1.

Personally I think you have done an absolute superb job with TC4 although I
will not use it in production until it has matured a bit more.
