[jira] [Commented] (AMQ-8133) Consider adding IBM Z (s390x) into Apache ActiveMQ Jenkins CI

Matt Pavlovich commented on AMQ-8133:
-------------------------------------

What is the goal here? Are you looking for a new assembly build for ActiveMQ releases?

Does Java on z/OS support running the activemq-unix.tar.gz directly? Or is it Linux on Z?

Does Apache INFRA have access to a s390x for CI?

> Hi,
> I would like to add support for IBM Z (s390x) into Apache ActiveMQ Jenkins CI. Currently I can use 5.16.1 tar.gz file from [http://archive.apache.org/dist/activemq/] and java openjdk 8 to successfully run the web console. Wondering what is the process I should follow to add CI support for s390x? Happy to discuss and help with the process. Thanks.
