Cannot embed the User Defined Characters into the PDF

Summary: Cannot embed the User Defined Characters into the PDF
           Product: Fop
           Version: 0.20.5
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: pdf renderer
        AssignedTo: fop-dev@xml.apache.org
        ReportedBy: ethan_chen@hotmail.com

I cannot embed the User Defined Characters into the PDF.
For instance, I have created my own characters with a tool. It crreated two
files: EUDC.tte and EUDC.euf. I put them under C:\WINDOWS\ and modified the
value of SystemDefaultEUDC to C:\Windows\EUDC.tte using the regedit.exe.
Therefore, all my word editor tools can show my own characters correctly.
However, I cannnot and don't know how to embed those characters into PDF.

I have looked all the documents I can found, but still cannot find a
solution. Is it a bug? or on the to do list..?

Best regards,

Ethan
