Is MADlib still supported in the latest release?

Hi guys:

We have tried Impala+R，but the R is only utilize its own host resources. So
we want to try MADlib, but the latest update about Impala+MADlib
integration I found is three years ago.
Is MADlib still supported in the latest release? Plus, is  MADlib can
execute in distributed way?
