[jira] [Commented] (MSHARED-629) Make exteneded tokens default for
displaying trees
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MSHARED-629?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15970073#comment-15970073 ]
Michael Osipov commented on MSHARED-629:
----------------------------------------
This leaves a few questions:
1. What if the locale is not {{UTF-8}}?
2. What if the output is parsed for an IT and it is not prepared for the output? (silent change)
This decision isn't made here, but in the Maven Dependeny Plugin.

> Now that MSHARED-615 has been merged I would like to propose that this be made the default behavior. By this point most developers have unicode-compatible terminals and given the extended characters make the tree more readable it would be nice to have this as the default option.
