I've spent 2 hours attempting to do this change but the quality of wicketstuff-selectize is not that good at the moment.
In addition a bigger refactoring in Isis Wicket viewer is required to move from Select2 to Selectize. I don't have that much time right now to do this.

I think I've found a good solution for the problem with Select2, see the latest commit/comment in ISIS-1224.
