   Why? It looks not easy.
   If you want to debug with your own xsimd code, you can overwrite the installed xsimd source (under build_dir/xsimd_ep/src/xsimd_ep-install/include/xsimd) with your code after first build. They won't be overwritten during re-build. Of course, be care of accidentally removing the build dir. Perhaps make a symbol link there is safer.
