As we discussed in the [Sharding Sphere|https://github.com/sharding-sphere/sharding-sphere/issues/1157],  it could be a challenge for the other project (which has lots of user already) to upgrade the JDK version. 
As the actor work of saga-core can be used as a plugin, we could put it into other module to let the saga-core to be optional for JDK 8.
