[jira] [Created] (TS-1420) traffic.out cannot currently be rotated nicely

Jon Cowie created TS-1420:
-----------------------------

Summary: traffic.out cannot currently be rotated nicely
                 Key: TS-1420
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-1420
             Project: Traffic Server
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Logging
    Affects Versions: 3.2.0
            Reporter: Jon Cowie

There's currently no way to rotate traffic.out without having to restart trafficserver to get it to release the file handle. This is sub-optimal and could do with fixing.
