Cannont disable the display of a vitural directory and all its subdirectories' contents  in a Tomcat+Apache configuration when the index.html is not present

Description:
The entire contents of a vitural directory and all its subdirectories in a Tomcat+Apache configuration are displayed if the index.html file is not present.
