Numbered Tickets in Calc with text & formaula over background image
Similar to 38352 (closed), but definitely reproducible. Occurs with OOO Calc
3.4.1 build 9593 and OOO Calc 4.0.0 build 9700, 21 May 13. Running Windows 7
Home Premium SP1 32 bit on Dell 745 Pentium D 3.4GHz, 4G RAM.
I wanted to have formula and text in several cells over a background image to
create sequentially numbered tickets on microperforated business cards -- see
attached Tickets.png (cell borders shown).
Open Calc. Click on a cell to select, click INSERT on menu bar, click option
Picture|From File. Pictures Library opens. Click a folder to open, then an
image file name to select, click Open button. A full size image appears over
many cells.
Right click image, click Position and Size, set Width to (say) 5cm, check Keep
Ratio, click OK. Smaller image appears, covering several cells. Right click
image, click Arrange, click To Background. Cell borders now visible over the
image, text/formulas may be entered.
BUT image can no longer be selected for further editing, such as to adjust size
or position.
'Undo' will restore the image attributes to make it editable again.
If Send to Back is clicked, text can be entered which shows over the image, but
is not subsequently editable.
Also, adjusting row or column size stretches the image.

Use the Navigator and double-click the corresponding item in the group
Graphics.
I think it is no bug, but a request for enhancement. In Writer it is possible
to select a background image with Ctrl-click. In Calc that short cut is already
used, but for example Alt-click seems to be free and Alt-click is used in Draw
to select deeper objects in the stack.
