This is a IE problem

And please provide more information next time.

I'm now just guessing you are using a servlet
Following points could help:
1) Make sure you are setting content-type ("application/pdf")
2) add ".pdf" to the requesting URL
3) Make sure you are setting content-length
   (see Contrib/servlet/src/FopServlet.java)
