Why developers removed serializer/deserializer function from Axis2?

I have a question about serializer/deserializer in Axis2.
I would like a function for serialize Map object. I found MapSerialier for
this task in Axis but I were not found in Axis2.
Please tell me why you do this and how I can do this task in Axis2.
