Error starting ServiceMix 5.3.0 under Windows
Hi,
starting ServiceMix 5.3.0 under Linux works fine, but starting under Windows
shows the following error(s):
Please wait while Apache ServiceMix is starting...
Error starting karaf activator

I've learned from the mailing list that the Activator errors can be ignored
but how can I solve the OBR errors?
Environment is Windows 7 Professional, Java 1.7.0_51
Thanks for any help, regards,
Michael

I have successfully repeated your error.
My installer had a bug that replaced featureRepositories in the
etc/org.apache.karaf.features.cfg file when it was intended to append to it.
I get the exact same stack trace you get.

Hi Michael
No idea. I have tested again and it starts (Windows 7 64bit, JDK
1.7.0_45 32 and 64 bit). Could you download Karaf 2.4.0 and try to start
it on you machine?
Regards
Krzysztof

Hi Krzysztof,
thanks for your reply. The Maven settings are ok, I've tested 5.3.0 behind a
proxy and without a proxy and have no problems with ServiceMix 5.1.3 or
using Maven during development.
I don't have a clue what's wrong here.
Thanks and regards,
Michael

Hi Michael
Could you please check your maven settings? Are you perhaps behins a proxy.
I have tested this release on windows7 64bit and it works. I think
something prevents some bundles to be downloaded from central.

Krzysztof
