Not sure I should post here but I don't know where to post.

When v2 was released, I remember Ian Lehnardt writing that one of the goal for the next releases will be (but not only) the search/query improvement. We could even imagine an SQL query being "translated" into mango and vice-versa!

I was wondering where CouchDB is at with this matter and if any search/query improvements have been made (for example: join/lookup, fuzzy/match, etc...).
