Tomcat 5 drops remote user ?

Hello,

is it true that TC5 drops the remote user info from the Webserver ?
with IIS->JK->TC4 remote user appears in "snoop.jsp"
with IIS->JK->TC5 it's gone (NULL).
Any way to bring it back?
Where (in which source-file) is it dropped?
