I agree the css class should be an optional parameter of the component tag. In fact i will get to it as soon as I can.

The more I looking into this, the more I need to understand. So, do not
wait for me to provide a patch any time soon.
I would like to know where this fits into your schedule.

Where does this fit on your schedule?
I would like to create a patch based the changes posted in JIRA if you
