Configuration File problem

Hi, 
I am relatively new to this list and have a question about Axis. We are
using Axis on WAS 5.0 and when we attempt to access the wsdl for our
service by appending ?wsdl to the end of the service URL, we get the
following error message:

[11/23/04 14:26:57:489 EST] 4cb0b639 FileProvider I
org.apache.axis.configuration.FileProvider Configuration file read-only
so engine configuration changes will not be saved. 

We are using hand written wsdl specified by the <wsdlFile> tag in the
wsdd.

Does this sound familiar to anyone who has experience using Axis?
