MessageContext serializable

As I mentioned a few weeks, I am considering multiple transport supports.
One approach is that AxisEngine and AxisServlet runs on different JVM's,
and they
interact via RMI.  In that case, invoke method of AxisEngine is remetely
invoked.
However, MessageContext is not Serializable, so such remote invocation is
not
possbile?
Is there any problem if we make it Serializable?
