Tomcat+Apache error

hi, everyone!

I have installed Apache1.3.9+Tomcat3.0 on Windows NT sp4 according to 
Tomcat+Apache HOWTO document.
However, when I finished the configurations, I tried http://<myhostname>/examples
then I got an "Internal Server Error". I checked the log file of JServ,
it recorded:
[21/12/1999 03:36:28:020] (EMERGENCY) ajp12: can not connect to host 127.0.0.1:8007
[21/12/1999 03:36:28:020] (EMERGENCY) ajp12: connection fail
[21/12/1999 03:36:28:020] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via protocol "ajpv12"

I don't know how to solve the problem.
Would you help me?

Try to start the tomcat server by executing the startup.bat file :^)
