Would that create a mess of commit notifications? And there is no heuristic to tell how to slice up this very complex and deep source tree into bite size pieces that would not upset the sync. It would essentially require someone to sit at their desk for 12 hours trying to figure out how to chop up the tree and then monitor the individual check ins.
Or is there an easier way to figure out how to do this piecemeal?
(Also remember, this would be done from Beijing, so factor in latency issues)
I bet you can load the dumpfile via svnadmin in 30 minutes.
