[jira] [Created] (ATLAS-564) Test Atlas queries for performance.

Hemanth Yamijala created ATLAS-564:
--------------------------------------

Summary: Test Atlas queries for performance.
                 Key: ATLAS-564
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ATLAS-564
             Project: Atlas
          Issue Type: Sub-task
            Reporter: Hemanth Yamijala

With test data generated as per ATLAS-562 and ATLAS-563, we can generate tests that query the backend and help measure performance.

The query tool should consider a few things:

* Simulate a typical user session - for e.g. search for a metadata entity, load all details for it (including lineage etc), add a tag.
* Ability to fire these queries picking random metadata entities from a known set.
* Ability to fire these queries in parallel simulating multiple user sessions.
