[jira] [Commented] (CLOUDSTACK-4603) Ability to configure a syslog destination for a virtual router / systemvm

+1 - I was hoping to add a ticket for this myself. I would really love to see this. Centralised logging of all cloudstack managed services would be great to pump them into better log gathering/analysis tools down the pipeline. The Management server log, log for KVM agents is easily redirected to a syslog server but not so the case with router VM logs that go to /var/log/messages , dns/ dhcp logs etc.

> In order to improve monitoring and insights in a system / routervm.
> We like to see an option to send logging from system / routing vm's to a syslog server.
> Destination preferably configurable per network and globally.
