Working on 'build.xml' in 'royale-asjs'
Hi,
Just to avoid confusion and possible collisions: I'm working on fixing
'build.xml'. I got pulled into it because I'm trying to get back in a dev
mode, but the READme is confusion and inconsistent. This led me to start
fixing it, which then put me squarely in 'build.xml'.
First I'll change the repo URLs, to make sure folks use the Royale ones,
not the old FlexJS ones.
I'm also going to create a few extra (tiny) sub-targets that will allow new
users to use ant to first checkout the required repos. They will then have
to download some additional prerequisites and set some env variables,
before doing a build on all repos to get them into a workable state.

@Dave: We've had some discussion with Infra. They said to see if it is
still happening after a day or so.
@Piotr: Yesterday it took over 2 hours before the commit was discarded.

What GitBox is is a copy of the project on GitHub. That way if something were to happen to GitHub projects would not lose their archives.

I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong, I'm trying to coordinate.
I think at Royale we are hoping to get a lot of folks back that left
because of all the stuff going on at Flex. These folks, like me, might
appreciate an easy way to get back in. So a little documentation over at
Royale and some extra attention to commits@ (although that hardly seems an

Hi Erik,
I think we all have to presume there will be bumps in the road. You've
been away from the project and probably didn't notice that I've been
pushing packaging changes to a branch for the past few weeks. There was a
thread on dev@flex about new packaging.
There was so much email traffic on dev@flex that I hoped that folks were
following on commits@ so I didn't have to repeat myself on dev@ or in a
wiki. But maybe that's too hard for many of you and I should be writing
more about each commit on dev@.
Thoughts?

royale-asjs. Do we know if the "hubot" is still discarding commits? My

Would it be possible setup yourself also in Maven? It would be awesome have
more people who have both setups ready.
