XML Schema Validator produces inaccurate error messages

Summary: XML Schema Validator produces inaccurate error messages
           Product: Xerces2-J
           Version: 2.0.1
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: XML Schema Structures
        AssignedTo: xerces-j-dev@xml.apache.org
        ReportedBy: mschovanek@netbeans.org

I had a typo at root element name. During validation I got error
messages which refer to elements in the center part of document
but no reference to invalid root element. Example is attached.
