slide-kernel.jar

Hi all,

I am trying to add something to slide-kernel.jar, but unfortunately when
I change this file (actually add some classes to this file or add some
methods in its classes) , the slide refuse to
initialize its content and the catalina.out will be like :

Starting service Tomcat-Standalone
Apache Tomcat/4.0-b6
Starting service Tomcat-Apache
Apache Tomcat/4.0-b6

What's happening? and what should I do if I want to change
slide-kernel.jar.  I've changed some other jar already and I have got no
problem. What's wrong with this one?
