Java2 Collections
Hi everyone,
I had a need to use Java2 collections so I changed two
classes (webserver.java and xmlwriter.java). The
changes were fairly trivial - I switched to using
interfaces where possible, so it wouldn't break
existing 1.1 code (eg. Hashtable and Hashmap both
implement Map) also, new collections are not
synchronized, which is a bit more efficient.
Would the group be interested in this code?
I'm only interested in server-side (I have a PHP
client), but I can also change the client classes.
Thanks,
Paul
PS Great code set!

I think this may have already been covered in the current
development branch. However, I am interested in your
approach.
We may not end up using contributed code that introduces
dependencies on Java 1.2 API's in the core of the system,
as it can introduce problems with applets (the server
is less of a concern).
Can you send the code to me privately (unidiff + extra
classes or a tar/zip of all files) and I'll see if it
is possible to include it?
Andrew.
