I found the Mimic documentation for the RESTful API plugin: http://docs.ceph.com/docs/mimic/mgr/restful/
From what I see, you can get pretty creative with the endpoints (e.g. checking cluster health, setting OSD states, removing OSDs, etc.) I'll start playing around with this.
