[Solved] TRUE and FALSE capitalised in tables (View topic) • Apache OpenOffice Community Forum

Mystery solved. Turn off Number Recognition in tables.

Hi Michael,

I think that once a cell is stored as TRUE/WAHR, it is a boolean cell. In order to make it a text cell, you need to overwrite the value with text, such as “true”. With Number Recognition turned off, the cell will become a text cell again. I tried this and it seemed to work.

thanks for the link.

I unchecked the option Number recognition, but table 5 in Ch14-Query.odt
still shows WAHR and FALSCH instead of TRUE and FALSE.

Then I changed the option Language Settings -> Languages -> Local
setting to English (USA) and now it is TRUE and FALSE.
