Basic question about Apache directory server 1.5.4
Hello, I'm new in this forum and want to ask a starter question:
I have tried to install Apache directory server and studio on windows xp
last week. But there is aproblem in server-side. I couldn't find any info in
net.Tried older versions of ApacheDS also with other java versions. The
service for apache directory server doesn't start at all. I'm sending
screenshots. If you installed correctly can you send a step by step
explanation for anybody who could face the same problem(example:which java
version you used).Any clue will be apprecieted.

I've solved w'th your helps/ Thank you both of you. I'll give info for other
people about the solution. I was using Turkish in regional settings and
after your posts everything was clear changed everything to English

to start it from command prompt and its result is like the following:

Hi,
What's the name of the hard drive you're trying to install Apache DS on ?
We've already have the same error message in the past:
"Unable to get the current logfile size with stat: The filename,
directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. (0x7b)"
